The area covered runs from Ramsbottom at the southern end, up the Rossendale valley through Rawtenstall, Haslingden and Bacup, across Hyndburn through Accrington, Oswaldtwistle, Church, Rishton and Great Harwood, west into Blackburn and Darwen, east into Burnley, Padiham, Nelson and Colne, and north to Clitheroe and the lower Ribble Valley. It is worth being honest about what that geography means in practice. Lee is based in the Rossendale valley, so Rawtenstall, Haslingden, Bacup and the villages between them get the quickest quotes and the shortest lead times, often a day or two. Burnley, Accrington and Blackburn are the next tier: regular, established rounds where a single room or a half-day repair is still a sensible booking. Clitheroe and the far edges are comfortably worth the run for a room or more, and for a very small repair Lee will tell you plainly if it does not make sense rather than quietly loading the price to cover the travel.
The kind of work varies by town more than people expect, and the pages reflect that rather than repeating the same copy with a name swapped. The exposed towns, Bacup, Colne and upper Darwen, produce far more external rendering and cold solid wall work, because their elevations take sustained wind-driven rain off the Pennines. The dense terraced towns, Burnley, Nelson, Accrington and Blackburn, produce ceilings, full reskims and making good after other trades. Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley produce more period work, lime backgrounds and cornice matching than anywhere else on the list.

Which town is LD Plastering actually based in?

How far will you travel for a job?
Comfortably across East Lancashire, from Ramsbottom in the south up to Clitheroe and the lower Ribble Valley, and east to Colne. Beyond that it depends on the size of the job, and you will be told honestly rather than quoted for something that does not stack up.
Does it cost more if I am further away?

Do you take on small jobs across the whole area?
In the valley and the towns close to it, definitely. Further out a very small job is sometimes not economic, and you will get told that plainly. Anything of a room's size or bigger is worth the run anywhere on the list.
Do the towns differ in the kind of work you do?

Is Ramsbottom covered even though it is in Greater Manchester?
Yes. It sits at the bottom of the same valley as base, straight down the A56, so the county boundary makes no practical difference to how local the work is.
Can you do work across several properties in different towns?
Yes, and landlords with portfolios spread across Hyndburn, Burnley and Rossendale are regular customers. Scheduling several properties together usually works out better on price than booking them one at a time.
